Delete account
This page explains how you can delete your Social Swing account. For security reasons, account deletion can only be done from inside the app after you have signed in.
Steps to delete your account
- 1. Open the Social Swing app on your device.
- 2. Go to Profile → Settings → Account section.
- 3. Tap "Delete account" and follow the guided flow shown in the app.
⚠️ Warning
You are about to delete your account. This action is IRREVERSIBLE and will result in: • Deletion of all your data • Removal from your events • Loss of all your messages • Inability to recover the account By confirming you will permanently delete your account and, where possible, all associated data. This is the last chance to go back.
What happens to your data
When you start the deletion process, the app shows you a summary of what happens to your data (for example removal of the profile and of some content). Some technical or aggregated information may be kept longer only if necessary for security reasons or legal obligations. Depending on how you created your account, you may be asked to confirm your identity again (for example by entering your password) before completing the deletion. This is to protect your profile from unauthorised deletions.
